Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
TARPON SPRINGS – Greek Orthodox tradition holds that Konstantinos Pseftelis will be bless with good fortune all year lonng. The young Greek-American came up with the cross during the 109th annual Epiphany celebration in Tarpon Springs.
The day began with Orthos and Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Greeek Orthodox Cathedral and culminated with a dove released by Theodora Lialios and the cross dive in Spring Bayou. The celebration was overseen by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America.
