Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – The Greek unemployment rate eased to 12.5% in May from 12.6% in April and 15.6% in May 2021, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Thursday. The unemployment rate in the 15-24 age group fell to 30.1% from 37.1% and in the 25-74 age group it fell to 11.5% from 14.6%. The number of employed people was 4,170,361, up 5.8% from May 2021 and up 1.3% from April 2022.
