Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis on Monday proposed the creation of a task force that will help the tourism industry recover from the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic, during the first video conference of a special working group against the pandemic.
Theoharis chaired the teleconference of UNWTO’s Regional Commission for Europe, which comprises ten member countries.
UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili thanked Theoharis for his initiative, while the participating officials that the working group's final text will be ready by week's end.
