Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Adding to growing cases of sex scandals in Greece, a 62-year-old male teacher was detained on charges of sexually molesting a student over a seven-year period, beginning when the boy was only eight years old.

In his testimony, the 15-year-old said he was abused at the teacher’s home and in one case in the presence of four other individuals who wanted to watch but no details were given on how it went on so long or why it took so long to be revealed.
