Greek Shipping Still World’s Biggest

The Greek ocean-going shipping fleet fell in value by 11 percent over the past year but is still ranked as the most valuable in the world, at 95 billion US dollars, according to VesselsValue, a market publication.

Greek-controlled shipping continues to be the world leader despite the serious depression faced by Greece’s economy and the slump in international shipping.

LONDON - Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a meeting with Greeks of the diaspora while in London on Wednesday, during which he highlighted the options that Greeks living abroad now have to vote in Greek elections from their place of residence, as well as his government's emphasis on reforms.
