Greek Shipping Min. Hospitalised with COVID-19

ATHENS — Shipping & Island Policy Minister Yiannis Plakiotakis has been hospitalized at Evangelismos state hospital for faster recovery to a coronavirus infection, he said in social media on Saturday night.

Plakiotakis had announced on November 24 he tested positive to the novel coronavirus and was self-isolating at home.

In his recent social media post, he said, "Doctors have recommended I be hospitalized at Evangelismos for faster access and results of the prescribed medication."
