Greek President, Prime Minister Attend Liturgy at Athens Metropolitan Cathedral (Vid)

ATHENS – Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis attended New Year's Greek Orthodox services at the Athens Metropolitan Cathedral on Friday.

Archbishop Hieronymos of Athens and All Greece officiated at the liturgy, which commemorates Aghios Vassilios and his name day.

Churches have been allowed to open on a limited basis during Christmas and New Year's, with strict regulations.
