Greek President Attends Celebration for the Integration of the Dodecanese

RHODES — President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou attended on Sunday the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Integration of the Dodecanese that took place on the island of Rhodes.

The President of the Republic, who laid a wreath, said that "Today is a great day of remembrance and emotion. March 7, 1948 is a milestone in the history of the Dodecanese and the country. We are here to honor those who fought heroically for freedom and its reunification with Greece."
