Greek Police Probe Killings of Two Adults, Two Children in Massacre

ATHENS – Greek police were trying to determine who may have killed two adults and two of their children at their home in Andravida, a village in the region of Ilia, in the southern part of the country, and a possible motive.

Another son, 11, from a previous marriage of the couple – no names were given for anyone – wasn’t home at the time and local media said he found the bodies of his stepfather, 32, his 37-year-0ld mother and their two children, aged 3 and 2.

The bodies of the parents were found in a trailer in an outbuilding, and their wounds appear to have been caused by gunshots, the 3-year-old on bed linen on the floor of the building next to the trailer, the 2-year-0ld inside.

The local newspaper Peloponnissos, the police were examining the possibility the quadruple homicide was committed by an outside perpetrator and there were reports the woman’s former husband had an alibi.
