Greek Poet, Lyricist and Novelist Manos Eleftheriou Dies at 80

ATHENS – Greek poet, lyricist and novelist, Manos Eleftheriou, died on Sunday morning at the age of 80.

“Manos Eleftheriou belongs to the great Spiritual People, for whom death is the passage to eternity. May he rest in peace,” the President of the Republic, Prokopios Pavlopoulos, said in a statement.
