Greek-Owned Pizzerias Celebrated National Cheese Pizza Day

September 11, 2024

BOSTON, MA – National Cheese Pizza Day is September 5th and Greek-owned Boston-area pizzerias – Dedham House of Pizza (Dedham), New York Pizza (Cambridge, South End, Theatre District), and Pantry Pizza (Dorchester) celebrated with special offers including free slices and pies.

On September 5, Dedham House of Pizza celebrated National Cheese Pizza Day by offering one free cheese slice with any $30+ order placed through its mobile app or website: https://shorturl.at/pP0V8.

Dedham House of Pizza is an independently-owned pizzeria located in the heart of the historic Dedham Square, which has been serving the local community for over 50 years. DHOP offers an array of New England Greek pan-style pizza prepared with daily-made, in-house dough, calzones, subs, roll-ups, pastas, salads, beer, wine, desserts and more. Through implementing self-ordering kiosks, a mobile app, a rewards program, online specials, catering offerings, gluten-free pies and three third-party delivery companies, owner and operator George Panagopoulos has taken the beloved individually-owned mom and pop pizza shop that he grew up in to a nationally-recognized pizzeria.

New York Pizza is a family-owned pizzeria, which originated in the heart of New York City over 40 years ago.
