Greek Industrial Turnover Index Down 2.9% in November

ATHENS — The industrial turnover composite index (measuring both the domestic and external markets) fell 2.9 pct in November 2020 compared with the same month in 2019, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday.

The statistics service, in a monthly report, attributed this development to a 3.4 pct increase in the mining turnover index and a 2.9 pct decline in the manufacturing turnover index.

The domestic turnover index fell 5.3 pct in November while the external market turnover index rose 1.7 pct in the month. The industrial turnover index rose 5.5 pct in November from October 2020.
