Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — Industrial production fell 2.4 pct in September while manufacturing production dropped 4.0 pct in the month, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Monday. The statistics service, in a monthly report, said that the industrial production general index fell 2.4 pct in September compared with the same month last year, after an 1.9 pct increase recorded in the same months in 2019/2018 and attributed this development to a 16.5 pct decline in the mining production index and a 4.0 pct fall in manufacturing (clothing -15.1 pct, leather -31.5 pct, oil products -26.9 pct), while on the other hand production rose 5.2 pct in electricity and 0.2 pct in water.
The average industrial production index in the January-September period fell 3.7 pct compared with the same period in 2019, while the seasonally-adjusted index rose 1.4 pct in September from August 2020.
