Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Greek enterprises in the hospitality sector recorded a 59.7% jump in their accumulated turnover in July 2022 to 1.5 billion euros, from 949 million in July 2021, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday. The statistics service also said that enterprises in the restaurant sector recorded a 33.4% increase in accumulated turnover to 266 million euros, from 199.7 million in the same month last year. Both the enterprises in the hospitality and restaurant sectors recorded an accumulated turnover of 1.78 billion euros in July, up 55.1% from the same month in 2021.
