Greek Health Min Meets President of Central Board of Jewish Communities

ATHENS — Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias met on Tuesday with the President of the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece, David Saltiel.

Kikilias expressed his disappointment over the vandalism of the Jewish cemetery in Athens, adding that knowledge and education are the best weapon against fanaticism. Saltiel thanked Kikilias and said the fight against racism was ongoing.

At the meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary General of Public Health Panagiotis Prezerakos, Saltiel was informed about the health protocols for Covid-19, with emphasis on the operation of Jewish schools.
