ATHENS — Τhe Greek-French Alternative Tourism & Gastronomy Workshop 2021 opens its doors on Tuesday in France. According to an announcement, its ultimate goal is to highlight alternative forms of tourism in Greece, as well as promoting Greek food and beverages in the French market, which is of particular importance for Greece as one of the main sources of incoming travelers.
The event, which will be concluded on April 15, after hundreds of online B2B meetings that have been arranged in advance, is a continuation of the successful online alternative tourism and gastronomy events in the markets of Belgium, Poland, the United Kingdom and Germany.
The event is held under the auspices of the Tourism Ministry, the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the Intercultural Group for UNESCO and the Greek Embassy in France. The main sponsor of the event is the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO).
