Greek FM Dendias in Cyprus on Tuesday

ATHENS — Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will visit Cyprus on Tuesday where he will meet with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and afterwards with Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides.

The meetings will focus on the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and on the escalating Turkish provocativeness as well as on Greece-Cyprus cooperation at bilateral and European level and in the context of the trilateral cooperation with countries of the region, a Greek Foreign Ministry announcement said on Monday.

NICOSIA - Cyprus' new government is not pushing for the stalled East Med pipeline to connect energy resources to mainland Greece via the island and Crete, now wanting to be a conduit for Liquefied Natural Gas instead.
