Greek Education Min. to Announce Saturday Whether Primary Schools Will Remain Open

ATHENS — Education Minister Niki Kerameus will be making announcements concerning the operation of primary schools on Saturday, as a ministerial meeting on the matter was still underway on Friday evening to assess the rising pandemic spread in Greece.

Special education schools and primary schools have remained open while all higher-level educational institutions went into e-learning mode as of November 9, in observance of a nationwide lockdown November 7-30.
