Greek Doctor Probed Over Fake COVID-19 Vaccination Proof

ATHENS – An unnamed physician at the Asklipieio Hospital in southern Athens has had a case filed against him for allegedly trying to give fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates and violating pandemic health measures.

He was not named but Kathimerini said a nurse blew the whistle after the doctor stepped in to give a vaccination and set her aside and then she discovered the shot was tossed away and not used.

She notified hospital administrators over the apparent scam and an investigation found the doctor planned to do the same with four more appointments to issue the fake certificates to vaccine deniers who refuse to take the shots but wanted proof that they did despite that.
