Greek Defense Min Discusses Strengthening Collaboration with French Counterpart

ATHENS — Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos discussed the strengthening of the defense collaboration between Greece and France with his French counterpart Florence Parly on the telephone on Wednesday.

According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the two ministers discussed the situation in the eastern Mediterranean, given the escalating Turkish delinquent behavior.

The commitment of both Greece and France to International Law was underlined, while it was stressed that the goal of both countries is to promote security and stability in the broader region through joint initiatives.

Panagiotopoulos and Parly reportedly also discussed armament programs.
