Greek Consul General Fleeing Mariupol Continuing Journey West

ATHENS – The Consul General of Greece in Mariupol Manolis Androulakis has resumed his journey westward and is heading to Uman, Greek diplomatic sources said on Thursday. “Fortunately, everything is fine,” the same sources added.

The operation to evacuate the consul general and OSCE staff with their families who remained in Mariupol was launched on Tuesday, March 15. The rescue operation is taking place in close coordination with the OSCE.
