Greek Citizen Safely Transferred from Kabul to Islamabad

KABUL — A Greek citizen was safely transferred from Kabul to Islamabad, according to a foreign ministry's announcement.

Following instructions from Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and following relevant consultations between the ministry and foreign ministers of other countries, the Greek citizen Agajan Farhad was safely transferred from Kabul to Islamabad where he was received by officials of the Greek Embassy.

Officials of the Greek Embassy are now preparing his return to Greece, which is expected to take place as soon as possible, according to the ministry.
