Greek Artists to Protest outside Parliament on Thursday

ATHENS – Associations of artists, technicians and workers in the cultural sector have called for a protest outside parliament at noon on Thursday, asking for economic measures to support their sector, which was already in crisis before the coronavirus lockdown.

"The pandemic had hit the cultural sector long before the restrictive measures imposed by the government. From the first moment, artists and other workers of the sector have contributed with all their strength to keeping morale high in society. We stayed home, but we did not stay silent!" according to the announcement.
