Greek and Turkish Cypriot Teachers Agree to Co-Operate

 

After 14 years of efffortGreek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot teacher unions have reached an agreement to cooperate in the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE),

“The agreement, signed on 10th January by all 6 teacher unions from the island`s Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities, includes a rotation between them on the country seat in ETUCE for periods of 2 years….Furthermore, all unions have subscribed to common meetings of preparation, information and follow-up,” CNA reported.
