September 10, 2024

As reported by TheNationalNews.com on August 26, 2024

Paul Anton, a Greek-American entrepreneur from Milwaukee, has co-founded Huupe, a sports technology start-up that recently launched the Huupe Mini, the world’s first smart basketball hoop gaming console. Alongside his co-founder, Lyth Saeed, Anton has created a product that brings the excitement of driveway basketball indoors on a smaller scale.

Huupe Mini, designed to fit over doors in homes, offices, or dorm rooms, features advanced radar and Lidar sensors for precise shot tracking, while prioritizing user privacy by avoiding cameras. Anton emphasized the product’s versatility and affordability, with the Huupe Mini priced at $599 – far more accessible than the company’s original $9,995 Huupe Pro.

The company, founded in 2016, has raised $11 million and attracted interest from NBA players and global investors. Anton, driven by his Greek-American values of community and perseverance, continues to push the boundaries of sports technology, with plans to expand into other sports.

As Huupe grows, Anton reflects on his journey, rooted in a deep love for basketball and a commitment to innovation.
