Greece’s Sky Express to Cooperate with Delta Air Lines

ATHENS – Sky Express and Delta Air Lines on Thursday announced the launch of their cooperation to help international passengers flying to Greece on Delta Air Lines have easier access to a series of domestic destinations within the country.

As of Thursday, passengers on Delta’s daily flights to Athens from North America will be able to continue their journey to the destination of their choice in the network operated by Sky Express.

The agreement with Delta is one of a series of strategic agreements with major international carriers, such as Air France, KLM, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, Condor, El Al, Middle East Airlines, Transavia and Emirates, which help promote the Greek tourist product.

According to Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s Senior Vice President Alliances, “Greece is one of the most sought-after destinations this summer for American travellers and with commercial and tourist flows between our countries increasing, the partnership between Delta and Sky Express offers our customers greater flexibility in planning the perfect Greek getaway.”

Yiannis Lidakis, Commercial Director of Sky Express said: “The deal with Delta is the result of systematic work and discussions and makes us very happy. It is based on a combination of the newest and greenest fleet with an unbeatable network that will allow visitors from the US to enjoy the magical charm of our country.”
