THESSALONIKI -- Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will present a series of interventions and the Greek government's reforms framework for a new trajectory of growth and development, during his upcoming speech on Saturday evening, on the opening day of the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair.

"This development must be radically different, it must include more investments, be more extrovert, and emphasize strategies against the challenges of climate change, and for the requirements of digital transformation," noted the premier in his address earlier on Saturday at an assembly meeting of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce.

Mitsotakis added that his "center-right government did not hesitate to spend significant resources to shield the country in the face of an unprecedented health and economic crisis."

"There may still be concerns, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that we are in the beginning of a broad and significant development trajectory for our country," he stressed.

The premier also underlined that one of the biggest challenges for his government is for this development "to concern everyone, while its dividend should primarily relate to the new generation."
