Mitsotakis Meets with Visiting Albanian PM Rama

ATHENS -- Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed the steady improvement of bilateral relations during a meeting in Athens on Friday.

At a luncheon in Mitsotakis' private home, which was also attended by Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias, the two leaders reviewed Greek-Albanian relations, government sources said. They also discussed developments in the Balkans, the European accession prospects for countries in the western Balkans, and the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met earlier on Friday with Albanian Prime Minister. The two officials discussed bilateral relations , Albania's European prospect and the recent developments in the region, the foreign ministry posted on Twitter.
