Greek FM Dendias Participates in EPP Foreign Ministers' Meeting

ATHENS - Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias participated in a preparatory meeting of foreign ministers that belong to the European People's Party (EPP), which was held via conference call on Friday morning.

Later, Dendias is to take part in the EU Foreign Affairs Council, which will focus on EU-China relations and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Asia and the Pacific, a foreign ministry announcement said.

Additionally, they will also discuss current international issues, including the recent developments in Afghanistan.

Finally, Nikos Dendias will brief the Council on the Second “Thessaloniki 2020” Ministerial Forum, which took place on 19 May and focused on deepening cooperation among the Balkan countries to limit the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and prepare the ground for the region’s recovery, the ministry said.
