Greece-US Defense, Security Cooperation Discussed in AmCham's Online Event

ATHENS -- A roundtable discussion titled "Greece and the United States: Building Stronger Defense Ties through Multilevel Collaborations" was held online on Thursday, organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

Participants examined the further strengthening of the relationship between Greece and the US in the defense and security sectors, and discussed joint efforts for industrial cooperation, co-production, high-technology transfer and investment programs.

Attendees included Minister of Development & Investments Adonis Georgiadis, US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology Jeffrey White, along with senior representatives from the defense industry of Greece and the US.

The discussion was organized in the framework of AUSA 2020 Virtual Meeting & Exhibition, for which AmChamGR is organizing, for the 7th consecutive year, the Hellenic Pavilion, with 11 Greek companies and exhibitors.
