VENICE -- Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias visited the Hellenic Institute for Byzantine & Post-Byzantine Studies in Venice on Thursday.
During his visit at the institute, which is under the ministry's jurisdiction, Dendias met with its president Vassilis Koukousas.
At Venice, the minister also met with newly enthroned Metropolitan of Italy & Exarch of South Europe Polykarpos.
Dendias arrived in Venice after visiting Geneva earlier on Thursday, where he met with the UN's Special Envoy on Libya & Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Jan Kubis. They discussed "recent developments in Libya and Greece’s continued support to the envoy’s critical work and to UN efforts to ensure peace and stability for the benefit of the Libyan people", the ministry wrote in English on Twitter.
