Dendias Briefs Foreign Affairs Council on Turkish Provocations

ATHENS -- Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Thursday briefed his counterparts on the Foreign Affairs Council about Turkish provocations.

"During the meeting of the Council of Foreign Affairs of the European Union held via video conference, I informed my counterparts about the Turkish provocation and delinquency in the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus," Dendias said in a Twitter post.

Talks will focus on the outcome of the US presidential election, the situation in Afghanistan, Belarus, Nagorno-Karabakh and Ethiopia.

As part of the teleconference, the foreign ministers of the European Union member-states will also exchange views with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki.

Later, at 18:00, Dendias will participate as a speaker, also via teleconference, in the joint meeting of the Political Committee and the Political Security Committee of the 66th NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
