January 24, 2021

ATHENS — Supermarkets and retail stores can optionally open on Sunday, January 24, 2021, with Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis urging everyone to abide by the health protection measures.

The minister posted on Saturday on Twitter: "Today I took a long walk in the market in Maroussi and Kifissia. Everyone was wearing a mask, the companies were following the measures but there were a lot of people on the streets … We must be careful, it will be a pity to go back."

The stores can be open until 8 pm. Customers must send number 2 to 13033 and keep the message, in order to prove the time of sending and approval of movement.
