Greece Sends Condolences to Serbian People Over Passing of Patriarch Irinej

ATHENS — The Greek Foreign Ministry expressed his condolences to the Serbian Orthodox Church and to the Serbian mourning Orthodox people over the passing of Patriarch of Serbia Irinej in a post on twitter on Friday. The Patriarch of Serbia passed away at the age of 90 from coronavirus complications.

"Deeply saddened by the passing of His Holiness Patriarch of Serbia Irinej, an important spiritual leader for the Serbian people. We extend our most sincere condolences to the Serbian Orthodox Church and to the mourning Orthodox Serbians".
