Greece Sends Condolences Following Explosion at Chemical Plant in Slovenia

ATHENS – The Greek foreign ministry on Friday expressed sorrow for the lives claimed by a deadly chemical plant explosion in Slovenia, in which many people were killed or injured. “Profoundly saddened by the tragic loss of lives following an explosion at a chemical plant in Kocevje, Slovenia yesterday. Our sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wishes for swift recovery to the injured. Greece stands in solidarity with the people and the government of Slovenia,” the ministry said in a tweet.
