Greece: Rainstorms in the North, Fair in the South

ATHENS — Rainstorms, strong winds and hailstorms are expected to hit on Saturday northern and western Macedonia and gradually Thessaly.

The same phenomena will affect also Epirus, western and central Sterea Ellada and the Peloponnese in the afternoon with gradual improvement in the evening. Fair in all other parts of Greece with northerly winds reaching up to 7 on the Beaufort scale.

Rainstorms in the northern parts with temperatures ranging from 19C to 33C. Clouds and rain in the afternoon in the western and eastern parts in the afternoon and temperatures between 18C and 34C. Sunny in the Aegean islands and Crete, 23C-34C. Mostly fair in Athens, 25C-34C. Riain in Thessaloniki, 24C-29C.


ATHENS - Greece confirmed 18,834 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with 45 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Monday.
