Greece: Dead Inmate Transferred from Trikala Prison to Hospital

ATHENS – The body of a dead prison inmate aged over 60 years old was transferred to Trikala hospital from Trikala prison in an ambulance on Friday. According to the hospital director Dimitris Parthenis, in statements to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, the dead man’s body bore signs of an injury to the head.

A precise cause of death is expected to be revealed by an autopsy.
