Greece, Cyprus and Egypt Sign Trilateral Military Cooperation Program for 2021

NICOSIA — Greece, Cyprus, Egypt have signed a trilateral military cooperation program for 2021 after a meeting between delegations of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDS) and its counterparts in Cyprus and Egypt.

According to an announcement on Wednesday, the signing of the program further upgrades military cooperation and interoperability between the three countries' armed forces with the conduct of joint military exercises and training actions.

After the signing of the program, HNDS chief General Konstantinos Floros received the heads of the military delegations of Cyprus and Egypt.

During the meeting they discussed issues of mutual interest, while a special reference to the close relations developed over the last period between the three countries via cooperation and a wide range of exercises, which help to establish security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean.
