Greece and Israel Put digital Signature to Defence Agreement

ATHENS – A defence agreement between Greece and Israel has been signed digitally, due to the global pandemic, the General Directorate of Defence Supplies and Investments said on Wednesday.

The agreement signed by the general director of GDDSI Lieutanant General Theodoros Lagios and the general director of the Defence Ministry of Israel, General (res.) Udi Adam.

It is noted that during a recent meeting in mid-January between the Greek National Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos and his Israel counterpart Naftali Bennett in Israel, the two countries confirmed their desire to futher enhance collaboration in the defence sector. They also discussed armament supplies and cooperation issues in the defence and technical sector.
