Greece Allows All Minors Aged 4-17 to Board Domestic Flights with Negative Self Test

November 9, 2021

ATHENS – All minors aged between four and 17 years old can fly to domestic destinations with a negative self test conducted in last 24 hours before their scheduled flight, according to a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announcement on Tuesday.

The change eases restrictions under the previous notam, which only allowed travel with a self-test for passengers aged four to 11 years old and required a Covid-19 certificate for all passengers over 12.

ATHENS - Soaring energy prices brought by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and trying to wean off dependency on Russian supplies has led Greece’s New Democracy government to move to suspend a climate change law that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had touted as critical.
