Greece: 2nd Turkish Drone Infringes the Athens FIR

ATHENS – A Turkish drone (UAV) entered the Flight Information Region (FIR) of Athens without submitting flight plans at 09:16 on Monday.

The drone also violated Greece’s national air space when it flew over the islet of Kinaros, at 19,000 feet.

At 08:16, it flew over Kandelioussa islet, west of Nisyros and at 08:53 it flew over Kinaros, at 19,000 feet.

It was recognised and intercepted according to international rules.
