Greece: 15 New Coronavirus Cases and 1 Death Reported on Thursday

ATHENS — Greece registered 15 new confirmed novel coronavirus cases and one new death since Tuesday, two days ago, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) reported on Thursday.

The total number of coronavirus cases now stands at 2,952. Of the latter total, 652 are linked to travel abroad and 1,702 are linked to already known cases in Greece; the rest are of undetermined source. Of all cases, 55.2 pct concern men, a fairly consistent percentage since the outbreak.

Fatalities now stand at 180 and the average age of all the deceased is 76 years.

A total of 9 Greeks are currently in ICUs, with 77.8 pct of these being men.


ATHENS - Greece confirmed 19,075 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with 62 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Monday.
