Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
BROOMALL, PA – The Ladies Philoptochos of St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall hosted the annual Graduate Sunday on June 6 to honor the achievements of their youth.
Presiding priest of the community Father Christ Kontos introduced the speaker Eleni Constantinidis Kornblatt who addressed the graduates. The chair of the event, Andrea Papadopoulos, thanked Eleni and presented her with flowers. Christina Katsapis and Anna Hadgis read the names of the graduates who came up to be congratulated and received their gifts from Fr. Kontos. The Scholarship recipients were also announced. Tom Karras congratulated the recipient of the Pakuris Scholarship, Alex Pylaras, and Philoptochos President Angelique Demetris presented Theodora Greco with the Philoptochos Scholarship. Fr. Kontos congratulated all of the graduates and offered the closing prayer. AXIOI!
