While Milwaukee Bucks superstar and the Pride of Greece, Giannis Antetokounmpo, will probably stay with the team – if it keeps winning – the Golden State Warriors want him too.
The Warriors want to ratchet up and try to be in the same league with the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers to at least sniff the word dynasty and think The Greek Freak is the guy who can put them there.
With the Warriors' season over, all that's left is to imagine what the next phase of the dynasty will look like.
NBC Sports reported the hope may be a pipe dream because Antetokounmpo likes his adopted home of Milwaukee and because of salary considerations with the Warriors already having Steph Curry and other stars.
“If the Warriors have any hope of stealing Antetokounmpo, they need one thing to happen over the next two years: The Bucks must suffer disappointing playoff defeats to make the reigning NBA MVP doubt his title chances in Cream City,” the site said.
Who wouldn't want the best player, and Antetokounmpo is loyal but the Bucks also have to keep winning to keep him.
