ATHENS – Golden Hall mall managers announced on Friday it has shut down for preventative measures related to the coronavirus epidemic in Greece.

The mall on Kifissias Avenue, a popular shopping and entertainment center, said they took the precautionary measure “after being informed shortly before that positive COVID-19 case had apparently paid a visit” to Golden Hall.

“Our immediate priority is the safety of our staff and visitors at our shopping centers,” managers Lamda Development said, adding they had called for an immediate evacuation, and would provide information on its operation in connection with relevant authorities’ directions.
