Gianaris on Council Member Costa Constantinides Stepping Down

ASTORIA – New York State Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris issued the following statement on March 31 about Council Member Costa Constantinides announcing his resignation from the Council and becoming CEO of the Variety Boys and Girls Club:

“Council Member Costa Constantinides is both a friend and a leader for western Queens who has served our community with great distinction. Costa’s legacy in the fight against climate change will be long-lasting and incredibly impactful. I am glad we will get to continue working together through his new position of leadership with the Variety Boys and Girls Club and look forward to this next chapter."
