Georgian Man Found Dead at Alexandroupolis Police Detention Cell

ALEXANDROUPOLIS, Greece – A Georgian national, 46, was found hanging in a detention cell at the Alexandroupolis police headquarters on Thursday morning.

According to preliminary infmation, the man had been arrested for migration trafficking and was awaiting trial in a few days. He hanged himself using sheets in his cell.
