Georgiadis: Gov’t to Announce Measures Against Price Hike Soon

ATHENS – “In the next days the government will announce packages of measures against the price hike targeting both the disposable income and the plagued professions”, stated Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Thursday in an interview with ANT1 TV.

The minister said that the price hike issue is an international issue so Greece could not remain unaffected.

Asked on tackling profiteering phenomena in the market, Georgiadis noted that extensive checkings are being carried out in the market, while the Competition Committee is conducting ex proprio motu investigation on the cartel.
