Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
WEST NYACK, NY – The members of George Chirgotis AHEPA Chapter 455 in West Nyack held their first official meeting with new leadership at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church on September 26 with new President Michael Tribunella, Secretary Alexandros Tsironis, and Treasurer Demetre Karavanas. Vice President Dimitrios Misantonis was unable to attend.
The Chapter was honored to have AHEPA District 6 Governor Dean Moskos visit the church community, and meet with the members of the parish, as well as the members of the local chapter. Brother Dean also met with Fr. Nicholas Samaras, and they discussed ways of fortifying the symbiotic relationship between AHEPA and the church community.
The Chapter also brainstormed innovative ways to help the greater community, increase awareness of Greek-American culture, and new ways to recruit new members.
