November 26, 2020

ATHENS — Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata on Thursday said that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis should have followed the precautionary quarantine as he had came in contact with Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos who was infected by the coronavirus.

"I believe he should have been placed in a 14-day quarantine as we all do and as the instructions say so."

She reiterated that permanent staff must have been hired a long time ago in the national health system.

On the lifting of the lockdown, she said that "it would be disastrous to have horizontal measures in the country" adding that "the safe opening should be held by taking into account the epidemiological characteristics of each region".
